Hudson Blough, Chairman

Hudson and his wife Nancy live in Greer where they have resided since their marriage in 1988.  They have three children who are all students at GCA.  Their son Taylor (Junior) and their daughter Ashley (Freshman) are attending the Upper School while their youngest son Carson is in the 1st grade.  Hudson has been attending Grace Baptist Church of Taylors since 1985 where he and Nancy are members.   He has served his church by being involved in a variety of ministries over the years which include teaching for various children's ministries as well as serving on the deacon board.  He received a B.A. from Bob Jones University in 1985.  He and his wife Nancy own and operate American Tree & Land Co. a full service tree company started in 1986 and is a subsidiary of Blough's Contracting Services, Inc.  Hudson teaches part time at Bob Jones University and is President of Christian Literature Advance, a mission board which provides oversight and support for a Brazilian publishing ministry.  Hudson was born in Tokyo, Japan to missionary parents and speaks fluent Japanese.

Lori Brown

Lori is married to Jeff.  They have one child, Tyler (8) who is a student at GCA.  She is a member of Heritage Bible Church where she directs a children's program, sings in the adult choir and leads a shepherding group with her husband.  Lori received a B.S. in nursing from Bob Jones University in 1987.  Her nursing career included work in women's health and the director of the high risk obstetrics program in Raleigh, N.C.  She was born in San Deigo, California and currently lives in Greenville.  She enjoys reading, tennis, music but most of all being a wife and mother.

Buddy Long, Secretary

Buddy is married to the former Heather Hellinghausen from Dallas.  He received a B.A. in English from Winthrop University. Buddy and Heather have five children - Calvin (7), Wilson (6), Anna Claire (4), Lauren (3), and Bobby (8 months.)  The older two are current students at GCA.  Buddy is VP of Operations of Level One, LLC.  He is a member at Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church (PCA.)  Buddy grew up in Charleston and has lived in Greenville for almost five years.  Buddy enjoys reading great books, running and spending time outdoors with his family.

Faith Martzin

Faith is married to John.  Faith and John have three children: Lydia (8) and James (10), who are students at GCA, and a married daughter, Nina.  Faith is a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church (PCA) and is a Jr. High Sunday School teacher and choir member.   She received a B.A. from Bob Jones University in 1985 and a J.D. from The University of South Carolina School of Law, in 1988.   She is currently a partner at Warren and Marzin, LLC located off Pelham Road.  She was born in Cookville, TN and currently lives in Fountain Inn.

Peter Waldschmidt, Treasurer

Peter and his wife, Linda, have 3 children: Drew (6), Alex (3) and Annika (18 months). Peter and Linda live in Greer, SC and are active members of Morningside Baptist Church. Both Peter and Linda were raised in the Northern Virginia area just outside Washington, D.C. before moving to Greenville. Peter graduated from Bob Jones University with an Electrical Engineering degree and studied for an M.B.A at Clemson University.  Peter was one of the founders of TetraData Corp, a Greenville software company focused on data analysis for K-12 educators. TetraData was acquired by Follett Software in 2006.  Peter has since become the founder and CEO of Gnoso, a Greenville-based software products company.  Peter enjoys reading, auto racing and real estate.
